Prepared for The Montrose Country Club · September 2026
Houston is looking for a place like yours. It keeps finding someone else.
We checked your website, your search results, your reviews and your social accounts the way a new guest would. Here is what we found, what it costs you, and proof that we have fixed this before.
Every number about your venue here is public, was checked on September 21, 2026, and is sourced at the end. A few things are hidden from outside tools. We say so wherever that happens.
The short version
Four numbers that cost you guests.
Your venue gets great reviews. The problem is everything a guest touches before they walk in.
0
of your Instagram followers react to a typical post.
About 19 likes on 20,834 followers.
0 of 11
everyday Houston searches for what you sell, and your website is not on page one.
Pool day pass, cabana rental, gay bar and more.
0 of 3
order food buttons on your website open delivery stores that are closed.
Both still carry another club's name.
0
different sets of opening hours are posted about you online.
That is how guests end up at a closed gate.
Who is out there
The crowd is already here.
These are the people who could walk through your door. Most of them pick where to go from a phone. Search and social decide whether they pick you.

Your website
Your website sends guests to dead ends.
A guest who hits a dead end does not call to ask what happened. They book somewhere else. This is what a new guest runs into today.
Critical
Order food opens closed stores
Two of your three order buttons go to Uber Eats and DoorDash. Uber Eats shows the store closed as of February 24, 2026. DoorDash says it is not active. Both still carry the Rich's Houston name in the web address.
High
Ticket links carry another club's name
The buttons for day passes, season passes and event tickets open a ticket page with richs-houston in the address. A guest buying a pass can think they landed on the wrong site.
High
A second copy of your site in search
Search results show a hidden Squarespace copy of your website. One of those results is still titled with the Rich's Houston name. Two addresses for one venue can split your search strength.
Medium
Your Facebook button
The Facebook link on your website uses a different address than your real Facebook page. Guests who tap it can miss your reviews, photos and events.
Every one of these is a guest who was ready to spend money and could not.
Your website and listings
One pool. Two price lists.
Your prices and hours change depending on where a guest looks. People who see two prices feel tricked. People who see the wrong hours drive to a closed gate.
What the same pool costs

Old names still point at your address
Tripadvisor lists ReBar at your address and phone number. Visit Houston's LGBTQ+ site lists Rich's Houston there. A guest checking you out can land on an old listing under a different name.
The words people search
The pages we could read never use the words LGBTQ+, gay or queer in their titles or headlines. Search engines can only match the words you use. How you say it is your call, and it matters.
Social media
Your guests are on TikTok. You are barely there.
TikTok already has topic pages for Montrose Country Club brunch, pool and showgirls, filled with other people's videos about you. Pearl Bar has 3,375 TikTok followers from just seven videos.
